Worked on a Cod farm years ago, I'm a qualified aquaculturalist.
We had dramas, as the farm had never got them to spawn. We got that, then fertilization rate was quite high, had small strain rotifers ready to go, but i measured the oesophagus width was smaller than the feed. They needs a trochophore or veliger, makes sense as they spawn naturally in tidal river ways.
The 1st feed is the critical one, where most hatcheries will get their losses. I was wondering if anyone had read what they were doing for it?
Cheers
