How credible is it? I suppose the appointment of a new underwriter will be proof. And even then — as we’ve just seen with Boustead — announcing a new underwriter doesn’t mean the underwriting agreement gets executed; much less that the listing occurs. So emotionally, we’re in a better place than 24 hours ago ... but still worse off than 48 hours ago, when we had (1) an underwriter and (2) a listing in the wings. Right now, we’re in the Cayman wilderness, and GMV can make any announcements they like, without even the scrutiny of a stock exchange. I recall them announcing this year that they wouldn’t delist from ASX. How did that turn out?
And where the hell was Fosun in all of this?
