Latest figurs available, for yesterday: 4.8 million shares traded, just 0.353 mill were shorts, 7.3%.
Compare that to, say, BHP, 16.7 million, 4.3 million shorts, 26%.
I'm not familiar with those other co's mentioned, but may well be short-covering that's pushed up prices.
