Deutsche Bank rates GPT as Buy - The broker has had a good look at GPT's numbers and decided there are potential catalysts to realise value. The appointment of a new chairman may expedite asset sales and cost cutting, and the broker suggests GPT's assets are "salebale".
GPT is sailing close to the wind on covenants but the broker is confident it can overcome its debt issues. Target rises from 59c to 76c.
Target price is $0.76 Current Price is $0.49 Difference:$0.27 - (brackets indicate current price is over target). If GPT meets the Deutsche Bank target it will return approximately 55% (excluding dividends, fees and charges - negative figures indicate an expected loss).
The company's fiscal year ends in December. Deutsche Bank forecasts a full year FY09 EPS of 6.00 cents. At the last closing share price the stock's estimated Price to Earnings Ratio (PER) is 8.17.
