MikeM, at the moment gold & silver down, the USD weaker against AUD, the counterbalance effect (inverse relationship) is out of kilter. There are quite a few predictions of US$2000+ gold in 2021, if correct the counterbalance in play would see a lower USD & I don't see how all this maintains or increases a US$500M payment converted to AUD to "walk out of Thailand" to quote Managerisk's post.
