Further to stabilizing COVID-19, little has been mentioned about antivirals. This is surprising considering that antivirals are presently one of the major methods of treating C-19. Or maybe it is because of this that it hasn't been mentioned, as the present antivirals are not working so well.

But what if there was a new one that did work? It would result in another arrow in the quiver of remedies for COVID. As SI also said in his recent video, antivirals will be an important part of the mix.

One Aussie bio company that will remain anonymous, is working on creating an antiviral, and will release round 2 initial testing results before end of this year, with hopes of moving into animal trials afterwards.

Here is a recent article from MIT in the US. Chemists Discover the Structure of a Key Coronavirus Protein. However, you would be forgiven when reading this if you were familiar with the work of the not mentioned bio company above. They are doing exactly what the MIT researchers are suggesting, but much further advanced.

There are numerous other publications this year from independent researchers around the globe suggesting that the same protein is a likely antiviral target.

As for MSB's efforts, no antiviral or vaccine will have any immediate effect on dampening their progress or success in establishing a new cure for the moderate to advanced cases. Not until late 2021 will any successful vaccine have any noticeable effect in the US and Europe, as opposed to country like Australia where a vaccine may reduce likelihood of a further major outbreak. In the heavily infected counties, a successful vaccine will come far too late to have any impact on MSB's success. As has been mentioned by others, even once a vaccine is established in any one heavily infected country, there will always still be a requirement for cures like Rem-Land successful antivirals.
