Hello fellow HC,
i came across very interesting news, regarding Nikola motor about their "working" prototype which seems to not move under its own propulsion. With the hype in electric vehicle (EV), they manage to generate 2.3 billion in pre-order sales as a result. Despite all the breakthrough claims, the company did not state the truck had a functioning hydrogen fuel cell or motor to drive the wheels (2 key component of the product).
With the latest announcement of alliance between Nikola and GM, it seems the deal is pretty friendly for GM, considering Nikola are the one generating the sales and the industry "disrupter".
