reverse stock split 1 for 10 agenda item agm

At the AGM of CDE on 12 May 2009 the following is an Agenda item to do a reverse stock split.

Subject to the authorization to effect a reverse stock split, authorize an amendment to our Articles of Incorporation to effect a proportional decrease in our total number of authorized common shares from 750 million to 75 million and a further increase in the number of post split authorized common shares from 75 million to 150 million; and

CXC would be subject to a reverse split in the same proportion. Refer to document 03/17/09 (PRE 14A A preliminary proxy statement providing notification matters to be brought to a vote) page 40 for the full disclosure regarding CXC if a reverse split is approved by shareholders.

Todays action was interesting and in part attributable to short covering overnight in the US. Wonder if it will hold up tonight or reverse??
