Hi migueldavid, no one should tell you to buy or sell (unless you pay them to do so). its your money and you need to be confident in your own decisions. as good as a company sounds they all have potential to go down for no reason at all (well there is reasons but we generally just dont get to find out). best thing to do is, read lots of previous company announcements, check 3rd party news (google search), look at the previous sp chart of a company and decide if this company deserves your time. make a plan - if i buy now do i sell when it increases 20% 100% etc, cant i afford to go long e.g. i wont need this money this money to servive and it can sit for 3 years. and vice versa if the sp drops 5% 10% 50% what is your bottom line before you get out of dodge. all these things change for me pending the company i buy into from the research i do. If i know some good news is on the way but dont think the company has good long term goals then i will drop out at what i hope the height of announcement. another thing to know is after 12 months capital gains tax halves so sometimes very lucrative to stay in the game. when your new to the stock market game it can be an emotional ride, so try not to make fast emotional decisions (thats when i have the most regret). welcome and good luck. oh and ht8 is great
but my avg buyin price is 6 cents, when ppl are making money of cause there happy, its contagious and then other ppl have fomo.
p.s. if someone does give you advice on hot copper think about there position... e.g. all owners with no intention of buying more want you to help increase the sp (more you buy the better off they arel). if they are looking at buying then they wont want you to buy till after they get there shares first etc.
