IMO The Scarborough deal should not go through at anything less than 0.25 unless absolutely neccesary. Who knows what is happenning with it at the moment - I would have expected news by now, but the BIG thing that I do not like about VPG is their lack of communication to shareholders. absolutely pathetic.
It is so pathetic that it is possible they are doing it on purpose to lower the SP to buy up. Anything is possible at the moment.

Something could be happening with the Scarborough deal - but shareholders will be the last to know. Some agony aunt at Womens Weekly will know before we do. Always be wary of mates doing deals with mates with no apparent shareholder benefit.


European lending is a funny one. One point to note is that in 2003, I was offerred a 105% loan to buy a house - figure that out?? I wonder how many people took the banks up on that offer?


IMO, Due to our Debt expiry schedule, Eur lending does not really concern us at the moment.

That is, unless we exceed lender approved gearing levels.

But - with the excessive writedowns of the values of VPG's portfolio in the HY09 report, in conjuction with the 80% fixed rental increases and the majority of lease expirations occurring in 2013, I think VPG will be OK.

IMO it is hard to see further asset writedowns unless the world implodes. and then we will be back to the age of barter, and money will be worth nothing.
