Did they? or did they just report it as it was and people interpreted it as being more than what it really was?
You seem to get wrapped around the axles that Peter Briggs sold some shares when the share price went ballistic for no reason. It is not illegal for directors to sell shares.
It would seem to me that Peter Briggs is a very savvy businessman. That would be evidenced by the farm in deals he has managed to arrange for WGP.
