Suzke888: Prefeasability studies at Skaergaard to be completed in 2011. In the gold zone the estimated grade is 1.68g of gold per ton plus platinum, palladium and other minerals. Is this a low grade resource? There is 100 million tons of this in the gold zone. that should last a few years mining. This ore estimated to contain $52.8 of value and cost $37.7 to process according to a scoping report from March 2008 that uses values that are out of date (the gold price used US$650/oz.)
The resource is on the coast and a lot is below sea level, could this be a problem?
