Ppl have questioned the tactics of the widespread nature of the drilling multiple times this may well be the answer as to why this has been the tactic of the company. Identify the possible feeders and source locations of the ni S then drill out a certain section which is close to surface cheap and quick to mine then from that money go out and hammer away in a huge exploration campaign finding possibly multiple sources aka motherlodes of niS then drill out Pattersons and wherever they shall choose and the big guys dont get to eat the pie before it goes into the oven. Just my thoughts and opinion but definitely see the logic behind it personally.
