At the AGM someone asked whether it was wise to use the koala in the brand considering what's going on, and Rob didin't seem overly concerned about the 'argy-bargy' going on. Presumably, they would be attuned to any backlash. I do think our product is different to things like wine and coal and the company has really worked on building good respectful relations and many employees are Chinese. Also that Australia had become overly dependent on China is certain areas - 90% of the lobsters were being sold there and none were available here - and taking China for granted.
If some approvals come through soon, then this will be a boost. I really don't want to sell now and then see things take off!
At the end of the day, I think our IP is very valuable, having it included in international guidelines and the current price is excellent value. Also, while China is important we are getting revenue from Europe as well.
