A little know fact.
It has been estimated the mineral deposits under South Australia far exceed Western Australia (particularly copper).
This was confirmed when the SA Govt. commissioned an aerial geological survey of the entire State (the so-called PACE Study)...
Underdeveloped because...
1. Years of labour governments = anti-mining
2. Deeper deposits (lot of over burden compared with WA).
