Say there was ten innocent people where killed who had no jury to say whether they lived or die. And a jury convicted ten people for their murder and where put to death. Then those ten could not re offend. We have saved ten lives at least. If one person out of the ten was innocent then we save 9 lives. that one person that was innocent and found guilty had at least a chance of saving his life by pleading to a jury.
The first 10 people didn't have that luxury.
Little Johnny removed some guns from the public ,now they are using knives and base ball bats. People haven't changed, just weapons.
Less criminals less crime.
No second or third chance, hit them hard first time.
When you teach a dog to sit you say "sit" once, count 2 seconds and make him sit. After a while he will the learn to sit on first command, not second,third,forth. If you say sit, sit,sit, he will not take you seriously on first command.
So must humans learn on first time, pay the price for breaking our laws.
When I was a kid you would not even think of back chating the police let alone attacking them. How times have changed.
The public live in houses covered in bars trying to keep criminals out, while they roam free.
