Personally I prefer to view the comments of all brokers and make up my own mind about any points they might raise. I'm mindful that both 'Buy' and 'Sell' ratings can come with agendas attached. But this is what they advise their clients etc. so they can have influence as a result.
A consensus price shouldn't just exclude the one's you don't like or agree with! That defeats the purpose and is not a 'consensus'...
