Nevertheless it will create a dangerous precedent hence the interest from international funders who may have a vested interest in seeing this precedent. It could open up the proverbial can of worms.
As the AFR article says CHM nearly collapsed after the 2.3 mill capital raising failed last year then suddenly they are revived by a deep pocket backer and a professional legal team. I dont think this case will go away quickly. There is too much at stake and both sides will appeal any outcome.
