She is just doing her job, and if it means cutting out the deadwood, then so be it. It is her duty as the boss to manage the company effectively and that is what she did. If only other CEOs would take a leaf out of her book we wouldn't have all these corporate failures. Which also means that jobs would be lost anyway!
The other thing I have noticed in our typical Australian society today is the jealousy that prevails. Who cares if she has tripled her income, that's her business, as long as she delivers profits for the company. Companies are not charities, although many on the left side of politics seem to think so. What do you expect when unions want to gain control. Why would anyone operate in nthat kind of environment? Concentrate on how YOU will create your own wealth, not on what somebody else has.
