These are interesting - yet older - charts depicting estimated composition of various batteries (NCA, 111, 622, 811) as well as estimated demand up to 2030.
In battery composition there is really nothing to dispute...
However, the demand forecast (from McKinsey) says almost all batteries will be NMC811 which would mean 3-4 times smaller manganese demand compared to NMC111 usage. I wonder how will this turn out because I also found another study with completely different conclusions.
