I'm not convinced by that. If I was Coops and Co, I'd be doing the right thing by retail by dangling a carrot , but keeping the real spoils for myself. these guys would know they could raise a lot more, so why just go for $1m, and they also know what news is coming. Co there is a reason to do it, perhaps perf shares approval as mentioned, but its a paltry amount. Who knows though. Look forward to seeing what happens.
