Discs naturally degenerate and thin as we age. Some people get back pain, some dont. I dont think disc degeneration explains why people have chronic lower back pain. In fact, we don't have a great deal of understanding about pain in general but probably a discussion for another day.
I mean, it highlights how much of a revolutionary treatment this will be if our trial is a success!
