Give it another 4 or 5 years an the droughts will be back and the farmers in the same situations again....
Its either a Feast or a Famine for them.......
When city people help those on the land , no one was expecting a Bit of FREE meat from farmers down the track......
But it has opened up a idea, some rural communities could have a Farmers Festival in town for some cheap good meat cooked and sold at the right price...
It would bring a Festival atmosphere to the towns and a lot of Tourism to the Regions as well...
