The Great Cobar mine, page-27

For those with an interest in what lies around the Great Cobar Copper mine this longish study from material collected by the previous Peak owners exploration in about 2014/5 is quite telling.With some interesting, though technical info at the beginning I found that page 7 had what I was after....the discovery of the rich Anjea deposit.I believe that AMI has commenced drilling from the East side if the Kidman Way towards and under the Great Cobar mine site where the open cut is filled with water and has been used as a swimming hole by locals.The old mine had only been worked to the 450ft level before closing for economic reasons.Anjea is 200 mtrs South (towards the Peak infrastructure)of the old mine with good results for Au,Cu,Zn,Pb in the historic drills.Once the present drilling hits Anjea,we may have some surprises on our hands.
