As sobering as this outcome has been, its not a terrible time to be a acquisitive oil and gas player if you have cash.
The majors are spinning like tops trying to divest projects and raise cash so it breeds opportunity for the fleet of foot.
As a life long oil and gas project engineer though, I'm convinced oils best days are behind it.
