It's been going on for years and they are just exploiting the tech they have access to now.
Brokers, big media, players like Goldmans and Blackrock have all been doing it for years with the most effective communication tools available to them at that time
I don't know how many times I've read a news article quoting someone from a supposedly reputable broking house/ large investment fund or other with a throwaway comment saying something negative and then 5 minutes later that person doesn't exist in that business or the same journo or analyst has a completely contrasting view a week or 2 later with no reference to the previous version of their rubbish.
Look no further than Balliue last week......
