MGX has been shipping IO out of Geraldton since 2004/5. Initially "40-45kt dinghy's", but now 60kt "dinghys" since the dredging program. Karara has also shipped magnetite for years. For someone who has 32k posts you sure don't do a lot of research.
Also if you think 490km is a long distance to truck, go spam the GWR board - they want to truck 700km+ to Geraldton.
