I can only speak for my situation however being o/s my trading platform only allows a “Limit” option and no depth except first line.
So in order to get my fill I need to over quote and just hope that it gets filled - usually takes 5 min on a good day.
Interestingly - last week my limit ended up 4 cents lower than what I bid - happy days !
Got more funds becoming available towards the end of the week - let’s see whether the price point is tempting.
