There is currently 10 - 12 Mt pa of iron ore shipped from Geraldton Akki. Sure, it's not as big as Port Hedland, but not insignificant either. Most shipments are about 60-70kt, so a little bigger than a dinghy . I'm sure Fenix are confident the numbers stack up.
