Interactive Brokers - $1 trades. You get pretty much the spot rate on forex conversions too. This is actually a 'real' broker.
Tastyworks - it's mainly for options but share trades are free. You have to wire transfer to deposit but that's $4 + minimal spread via currencyfair.
Selfwealth is sadly only an upgrade for those paying commsec $20 or more per trade, which any serious trader wouldn't be using.
