So, for the last few weeks I'v been trying to transfer my Selfwealth account to CBA and it keeps being rejected on the basis of signature not matching.
Can anyone explain why I need to have a signature that matches my documentation, The CBA has provided them certified copy of my ID to commence the transfer. I didn't have a comfortable place to sign and my signature differs quite often.
or are they implying the witnesses / CBA employee who certified my ID can't be trusted.

Personally, you could use this argument on every application to impede an individual right to exit Selfwealth.

    Signatures Are Not Legal Identifiers

Unlike names, signatures are not recorded as legal identifiers. Everyone's signature changes drastically and repeatedly between the time he first scrawls his name in block letters to the time he signs his last will and testament. But no government agency tracks these changes.

A person is free to sign his name one way today and another the next day. In reality, most people fall into a habitual signature, but there is no legal obligation that a person follows this norm. According to handwriting specialists, an adult with an established signature will have trouble completely changing it, and "markers" will still be identifiable. But that doesn't make the established signature a legal identifier that the government tracks.

Selfwealth haven't reached out to me to confirm if it's my wish to transfer my account, They leave it to CBA who say you need to sign another form and resubmit it...The question is which signature are they comparing it too..

So tried using their Selfwealth chat platform 1 person Queued that's me, but they are busy, mmm customer service is cr@p.
