WCL is lagging behind other coal seam gas players so far.
The progress has been hindered, partly because WCL is not the sole onwer of its mines, WCL can not move if its partner do not. Its partner has experienced the change of onwership from SHG to QGC then to BG. But now its partner is back to business, together with A$18 millions program.
In WCL's part, WCL was moving slowly due to its cash constraint. Now, after the option exercises, having A$18 millions in cash at hand, WCL will have more choices to progress its programs such as acquiring new land, fast tracking its explorations, etc.
The advantage of WCL's current project areas is they are close to infrastructures.
The traing is moving soon.
