As a shareholder, I don't think the market has placed any significant value on Cantrixil for some time now. If today's share price movement is a response to the Cantrixil announcement, I am surprised. Perhaps there are a lot of traders who now have KZA on their watchlist and are jumping on-board for a trade?

If there is some expectation/leak of good news to come it has been reflected on NASDAQ first in my experience.
