The only way they can realistically accelerate the 2-year timeframe is to get another 1-2 drill rigs to the island to up the drill rate, and convert more Inferred to Indicated faster.
Other than that, the rest depends on permitting and other licences that need the PNG governments' approval, and that's pretty much out of KSN's hands.
But the timing is a bit odd, I agree.
