It's just that they encouraged people to send the application is early before the closing date and that they already got 1.3m out of the 2m and I see the date for SPP result is Wed 16th. They don't work on the weekend. So, it's so tight. I just don't see how they can handle cheques and buy more work for themselves when they already reminded people of covid-19 and prefer not to get application over the mail ... Unless they delay the whole thing, there is no time. The most efficient way is to do first-in-first-serve.

However, I got an email from them to clarify that they don't mind people paying several times before the closing date. That means the processing does not start until after the closing date. It's not easy for everyone to come up with 30k in a single payment and the banks also don't allow over 10k payment online. So, they may scale back for everyone and refund the monies ... That would be a lot of extra work though.
