You can have the old crew come back and do more of the same, or stick with the new crew which contains some of the old crew before the split. Either way you lose.
Remta would be better off distancing himself from this mess before he loses all credibility. Chuck AGU out of 35 GEH and deal with them at arms length. Issuing 500,000 to raise $5,500 as "extra working capital" is a joke and was obviously part of another agenda. If the current board are so worried about their numbers to fight off the old crew then there will probably be a larger share issue coming to boost their control. Maybe another 15% like GPN & YRR last year. No vote needed.
Very little difference between both camps, it's all about them screwing over the AGU holders whichever way it goes. AGU is a basket case floated on a few worthless leases just for the benefit of Taylor & Blue Valley.
But let's not forget Quinn as he was thick as thieves with Scook (pardon the pun). He's no white knight racing to the defence of AGU. Nor is Benson. They are only at the helm of AGU to protect their own interests, which may well end up helping the rest of the shareholders though it is not their main reason for wanting control. After all, they were originally happy to be alligned with Scook to feather their own nests over quite a few years at the expense of unsuspecting shareholders in the trilogy.
And just who stands to gain most from the rest of the Amitan vend when (or maybe that should now be if) it goes through?
Remta's a fool if he stays involved with AGU. I'm sure he can survive on 2 Director salaries.
