I think this type of project could actually interest utilities.
We know Cez, the Czech utility has half the project of EMH.
I expect geothermal + lithium to be an even more compelling investment proposition for the local utilities.
RWE for example owned its lignite (type of coal) plants in Germany.
I can see this attracting funding at more ease than many think.
(By the way, utilities run with annual Capex programs in the billions if not in the tens of billions for the large players; so this isn’t out of reach). Watch this space.
