re: myponga-1 ? zone tuesday ! While Hyperno is a success, 150 bopd is not what anyone was hoping for.
In any case, my call was based on the 'drilling through the Namur formation, no significant hydrocarbon shows' section of Stuart's release of 4 June 2004.
It appears that the word 'significant' was a weasel-word, and on further review they found low but worthwhile oil.
Note that Beach have been absolutely silent on hydrocarbon shows of any sort in Myponga ...
