it is wonderful that in australia we have the AEC and they do their best that all who entitled to vote are given the opportunity to vote..

....and the AEC is a totally independent body - beholden to no government (federal or state)

Australian aborigines in remote settlements would never be entitled to a vote under the american system .. that is voter suppression

many native Americans are excluded from voting as they have no named streets and numbering on the reservations
