is cameroon secure being near the congo?

I have no travel experience when it comes to the African continent but I am beginning to be concerned with Cameroon and its neighbors. The picture that I have is that the Congo is a hot spot and considered a dangerous place.

With Cameroon being so close on the map what is it really like over there?

Will SDL have trouble with any security matters?

Is there a possibility of rebels hi-jacking sites and trains?

How often are Jones and Talbot over there on the ground?

How about Don Lewis?
