IMO Swan's decision to place a barrier in the way of the MinMetals offer excites many lines of thought: . Is Swan the dill many allege he is or is he really an inspirational example of Aussie manhood in all its glory? . What does it indicate re the integrity of OZL's management, the merger documentation & that of its recent auditors - is a corollary that shareholders been mislead into thinking OZL is worthless? . Who really stands to benefit from the sale of OZL? . Is the consortium of OZL's banks so stupid that they would opt for a fire sale that would take ages to complete & add to risk levels? [recent global experience renders this a no-brainer]. . Given that since OZL's last reports to shareholders that base metals prices have risen 20% [not the least of which have been zinc & copper] has OZL's bottom line improved? . If OZL's bottom line has not improved in recent time why not? . Also given the rise in the $Aud-$US hasn't OZL's indebtedness in fact reduced? . Who really still thinks Woomera amounts to anything at all or does the Govt. have plans for it in the future? . Would OZL be a good company in which to entrust our national security - given their recent public record? . To which other mining company would you entrust our national security? . In the Year of the Ox would you trust a tiger?.
