Remember when, prior to Somalian and proxy Yemeni adventures, the Yanks may have been 'trusted' to intervene in the cause of 'freedom and democracy'.
Maybe it is the turn of a more broadly based UN effort, which includes a less prone to invade China, to have an honest attempt.
And countries that won't renege on Nuclear Deals.
Politicians much closer to home are also risking our domestic well-being and export industries.
Firstly by consistently and needlesly provoking our major customer.
Secondly by failing to have a real climate policy and thus encouraging the European Union to tax what will be seen as our carbon dirty products.
Soon our exports won't meet the world's clean energy sensible and practical standards that are fast becoming the norm for people outside myopic Canberra party rooms.
