new thick high grade mineralisation

Avoca Resources Limited (AVO) this morning announced new thick high grade mineralisation from infill drilling on the 1005 Level that includes 24.1m @ 36.4 g/t gold from Athena; and 18.6m @ 19.2 g/t gold, 19.8m @ 13.8 g/t gold, 22m @ 10.5 g/t gold and 39m @ 9.2 g/t gold all from the Western Zone. The high grade ore, which has routinely returned grades in excess of the Trident reserve grade of 5.3 g/t gold has been defined over a 450m strike along the 1005 Level, and will be the predominant ore supply to the Higginsville treatment plant for FY2009/2010.
