You get your biggest pay rises moving jobs in this industry.

From experience, you only get drip fed pay rises staying at the same place. When you move companies the pay rises are sometimes 10 to 15% higher. Recruiters are also constantly contacting you trying to set up interviews with interested employers. This is what it is like in Sydney anyway.

I appreciate that it would be unstainable for AFL to constantly give pay rises of 10 to 15% each year but they need to offer some other incentive program. Maybe an RDO scheme? (one day off paid a month) or more work from home flexibility.
