With RFG in a trading halt this morning (15 December 2020) due to the Federal Government's ACCC launching action against RFG that alleges mistreatment of franchisees, is the 6.5 per cent interest SOL has in RFG a masterstroke or a rarer misjudgment?
Let's not panic yet though, and even if we did, it's a small transaction for SOL.
However legal action chews up dollars and generates bad publicity given that the ACCC declines to go after 'big fish' but tends to choose 'small ones' like RFG.
