I'm in the not worth discussing camp.
Why?
- MAK are (aiming to be) a mining company, not a trucking company.
- MAK have already decided to put it out to competitive tender.
- If the rail is built they would only get a few years out of the trucking operation before shutting it down.
- MAK has decided to minimise capex to give them the best chance to get the operation running in the current financial environment.
- We've been through all this before, more than once.
Sometimes I think a Wiki would be better for this kind of thing, that way the previous numbers/conclusions would be more persistent.
