Over many years of investing, I gave up contacting "the company" looking for a security blanket.
They do not exist.
This is a blood sport consisting of winners and losers. Everyone in the loop is here to make money.
In reality without blinkers on, the people within all these public companies have the first priority as themselves. The rest of us are mere players trying to angle a buck out of the system.
