To suggest that the Chinese Government needs or should learn more about the Western Ways of doing business, only beautifully shows one's absolute and utter ignorance of China, their government, their economy and it's dynamic and continuing evolution. And while they are still tightly rooted in their Communist history and values, the fact that the country and their people are still so heavily regulated at many levels, is the very reason why China has not and will not, fall so damningly far from grace as the Western Way will in present times.

China will not only be the only economy to weather this financial crisis, they also hold the key (and may or may not decide when or how quickly they shall use it) to allow the Western Way to emerge from this crisis at an earlier time.

China's current Human Rights leave a lot to be desired.

Yes i have been to China before they discovered Capitalism.

It was an oppressive place to be then and i can't imagine that their ruling party would want the oppression to lift anytime soon.

IMO Australia's biggest mistake was opening up its doors to free trade. Our country could have been totally self sufficient years ago without anyone else.
