I think the point that everyone is missing from the report on Reuters was :

The world's largest gold-backed exchange-traded fund, the
SPDR Gold Trust GLD, said holdings rose 2.45 tonnes to a
record 1,127.44 tonnes on March 29. [GOL/SPDR]

(Thats about 78,500 ounces in one day!)

POG may be dropping but the smart money is still buying gold like it is the last thing that is worth anything.... .....maybe it is !!
