You're kind of right in that there are usually notifications about the reason for the trading halt:

CR - https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/ann-trading-halt.5389777/
CR - https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/ann-trading-halt.4987031/
They usually have the purpose of the trading halt in the title, so perhaps it's business transactional - in which case there's no point reading HC for clues because it could be anything.
